McIntyre Aero Club held another successful breakfast fly

The McIntyre Aero Club held another successful breakfast fly in at the airport on Sunday. This year we collaborated with the Goondiwindi Car Restorers Club to have cars and planes on show. There were about 20 aircraft flew in ranging from small homebuilt aircraft to larger charter and agricultural aircraft. This included a pair of rare Cessna 190’s built in the 1950’s. The car club were able to field a large range of vehicles from World War 2 jeeps to classic cars, muscle cars and a homebuilt Shelby Cobra replica.

The weather was perfect and everyone enjoyed bacon and egg rolls, pancakes, and great coffee and were able to wander around and inspect all the great ‘toys’ on display.

Thanks to all the club members for the effort they put in and all all the car and plane owners who turned up. Next year is going to be bigger and better so see you all then.
